What Class 6 Covers

Class 6 is split into two sub-divisions. We handle 6.1 toxic substances regularly. We do not accept 6.2 infectious substances (medical waste, clinical specimens, biohazard materials) — these require specialized carriers and permits we do not hold.

6.1 Toxic Substances (Accepted)

Pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, arsenic compounds, cyanides, certain dyes and pigments, toxic solid/liquid n.o.s. (UN2811 / UN2810).

6.2 Infectious Substances (Not Accepted)

Medical waste, clinical samples, diagnostic specimens, biological cultures. These require specialized biohazard shipping we do not provide.

Toxic Cargoes We Ship

Agricultural Pesticides

Insecticides, herbicides, fungicides in liquid or solid form (UN2811 toxic solid, n.o.s.; UN3349 / UN2992 / UN2993 pesticide entries). Often classified by oral and dermal toxicity.

Cyanides & Heavy Metal Compounds

Sodium cyanide (UN1689), potassium cyanide (UN1680), arsenic compounds, lead compounds. Must be hermetically sealed in inner packaging.

Industrial & Laboratory Chemicals

Various toxic dyes, pigments, reagents, and process chemicals classified as 6.1 based on SDS toxicity data.

N.O.S. (Not Otherwise Specified) Cargoes

Products that fall under generic 6.1 entries (UN2810 toxic liquid, n.o.s.; UN2811 toxic solid, n.o.s.). We confirm proper shipping name and technical name before booking.

Non-Negotiable Shipping Rules

Double packaging required. Primary receptacle inside a sealed secondary packaging, packed in a UN-spec outer box or drum.
Leak-proof seals. All liquid inner packaging must be sealed and tested against leakage before stuffing.
Toxicity data on SDS. Oral LD50, dermal LD50, and inhalation LC50 must be listed — packing group (I/II/III) depends on these values.
Additional Chinese export permits. Certain pesticides and cyanides require export licensing and inspection before customs release.

Yes, we ship Class 6.1 pesticides (insecticides, herbicides, fungicides) regularly. We require the MSDS, toxicity data, and confirm whether export permits are needed before booking.

Do you accept medical waste or clinical samples?

No. Class 6.2 infectious substances require specialized biohazard carriers and permits. We can recommend a specialist forwarder if needed.
